Top ways to show your support

There are lots of ways you can get involved. Here are our top suggestions.

Sign our petition

We need to let politicians and the Whittington’s board know what local people think about the plans to cut our health service. So sign our petition or print off a copy to give to friends.

Join us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter

For up to the minute news and to share your views on the cuts and our campaigning please get involved on Facebook and Twitter. You can post or tweet us your photos and spread the word about the campaign by inviting friends to follow us or join our Facebook group.

Put a poster in your window

Print off a “Defend London’s NHS” poster and put it in your window to make the campaign a talking point among friends and neighbours with a visible display of support. You can also ask local shop owners to do the same and help to create a whole community of supporters.

Donate to the campaign

We are all volunteers and your donations are vital to allow us to keep going. Donations go towards paying for publicity, hiring venues and other vital campaign expenses. All donations are gratefully received, even if it’s just £5. Make donations payable to the “Defend Whittington Hospital Coalition” account number 65383908, sort code 08-92-99.

Join our email list

If you would like to receive the latest updates to your inbox send a message to defendwhittington@gmail.com with your email, name and contact details.

Be our eyes and ears

Let us know about any cuts or waits you or your friends are experiencing at defendwhittington@gmail.com or tweet us @dwhcoalition Please head up your message “Whittwatch”.

Tell us why you are supporting our campaign

We would love to hear your stories. Share with us how the Whittington has helped you and your family and why you oppose the cuts. We will post some of your comments on here and may like to put you in touch with the media, with your permission.

I see that you have an event presumably online on March 16 to do with operose and GP surgeries. I am my friends would like to attend but we can’t find a zoom link or similar and I’m grateful if you can get back to me about this so that we may attend on the 16th of March. Thanks very much
