DWHC: Campaign Update
Press coverage and the public meeting of 25th January 2010
Following last Monday’s meeting there has been a fair bit of press coverage, including this article in The Guardian: Hands Off Our A&E.

Petition
The online petition has reached nearly 400 signatures. If you haven’t already, please sign it and pass the link around to anyone you can. We also have over 1,000 signatures on the paper petitions. Please download a copy here and get as many signatures as possible. Pass petitions around to your friends and family, your workplace, local shops, doctors’ surgeries, community & social groups etc. They can be returned to The Whittington Park Community Centre. The address is at the bottom of this post.
Forthcoming Events
Monday 1st February, 19.00 at Islington Town Hall: mass lobby of the Islington Council of Health and Well-Being Scrutinee Committee. You can read more information about the meeting on Islington Council’s site here.
Monday 8th February, 19.00 at the Whittington Park Community Centre: our next campaign planning meeting.
Saturday 27th February, 12.00, Highbury Fields: the march and rally, starting at Highbury Fields, moving along Holloway Road, past The Whittington and finishing in Whittington Park for the rally. We need as many people as we can get to come along and show how we feel about the plans.
